With it’s old van experiencing multiple mechanical issues, the Amherstburg Food & Fellowship Mission teamed with a number of donors and groups to acquire a new one.  The Mission now owns a 2017 GMC Savanah van, acquired through Amherstburg Chevrolet Buick GMC. The Mission raised money for it through donations and grants, including one from the Windsor Essex Community Foundation. “Today is a great day for the Amherstburg Food & Fellowship Mission and a great day for the people we serve,” said Mission president Tim McAllister.  McAllister also expressed the Mission’s gratitude towards Scott Elliott and Mike Bezzoubkin from Amherstburg Chevrolet Buick GMC who also made a generous donation towards the van.
